Okotoks, not the city

For most families out west, help with your mental health shouldn't mean a drive into Calgary. Okotoks is closer, smaller and simpler to get around, with free parking right at our door — and it's a town most Diamond Valley families already know well.

Between hockey and swim lessons at the rec centre, the weekly grocery run and the odd trip to Costco or Home Depot, a lot of Black Diamond and Turner Valley families are in Okotoks every week anyway. A session can sit alongside a trip you're already making rather than becoming another one.

And when the highway isn't worth it — a stretch of winter weather, or a week with no spare hour — virtual sessions are available anywhere in Alberta. Many rural and acreage families move between in-person and virtual depending on the week.

Do you have an office in Diamond Valley, Black Diamond or Turner Valley?
No. Our Foothills office is in Okotoks, at Unit 240, 158 Southbank Street, about fifteen to twenty minutes east. We'd rather say so plainly than imply a local address we don't have. Virtual sessions are also available anywhere in Alberta.
Why Okotoks rather than Calgary?
For most Diamond Valley families, Okotoks is closer and simpler — smaller roads, free parking at the door, and it's where many people already come for groceries and errands. If you work in Calgary, our south Calgary office on Southport Road may suit you better, and you're welcome there too.
Can I have sessions virtually instead?
Yes. Virtual counselling is available anywhere in Alberta, which many rural and acreage families find easier, especially when winter roads are poor.
Do you see children and teenagers?
Yes. We work with children, teens, adults, couples and families, and the Okotoks office has a dedicated space set up for younger clients.
