Getting here

A trip that's often already in the week

High River sits about fifteen minutes from our Southbank Street office. For most Foothills families, Okotoks isn't a special journey — it's where the larger shops, services and sports facilities are, and the trip tends to repeat.

Sport is a good part of that. Between the Dawgs organisation and its youth programs, minor sport and the town's rec facilities, a lot of Foothills parents are driving into Okotoks on a fixed schedule week after week. If you're already here for a practice, a game or a tournament, a session can sit inside the same trip rather than becoming another one. It's also why we offer sport psychology from the Okotoks office — for athletes carrying performance pressure, injury, or the weight of a season that isn't going the way they hoped.

And when the drive doesn't suit — a bad stretch of winter highway, or simply a week with no spare hour — virtual sessions are available anywhere in Alberta. Many families move between in-person and virtual depending on what the week looks like.
